The Business Centre (Cardiff) Ltd was host to Superfast Business Wales who recently made full use of our conference room facility in the Vale of Glamorgan to run the first in a series of action workshops on how business in Wales can profit by taking advantage of Superfast Broadband. Superfast Business Wales is a fully funded business support service from Business Wales to help businesses benefit from digital technology and faster broadband. Superfast Broadband enables more to be done over the internet making use of better line speeds and capacity. However, it is not the technology that is important, but what your business can do with it.
During the workshop the Superfast Business Wales team gave an in-depth briefing and explained how they can help micro, small and medium sized businesses increase profits, improve communications and reduce costs through using easy to adopt technology.

It identified a broad range of topics to demonstrate how business in Wales need to take advantage of the rollout of superfast broadband services throughout the country. It’s important to stay abreast of developments in new technology such as cloud computing and digital marketing so that the business can survive and prosper in the coming years. Even though I am well aware of digital marketing and already use it for my own business the seminar opened my eyes to some useful cloud based services that will help me cut overheads.”
