It’s the most wonderful time of year and we have so many lovely things taking place at The Business Centre in the run up to Christmas.
Christmas Present Appeal
Pier Consulting are getting involved in the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal! They will be collecting new, unwrapped toys, gifts and games for children who might otherwise wake up on Christmas morning without any presents to open. If you don’t have any children’s gifts at home and no time to go shopping, there is also a donation box in Mel’s Café for you to make a monetary donation if you’d prefer!
Our community spirit is so amazing here at The Business Centre, we know how everyone comes together for an excellent cause and we’re sure it’ll be the same for the Christmas Present Appeal.
You can drop donated toys and gifts (unwrapped) to Pier Consulting’s office (A2 – just down the corridor from Mel’s) or pop a donation towards a gift for a child in their donation box in Mel’s café.
Christmas Jumper Day
It’s time to dig out your best Christmas jumper because Christmas Jumper Day! We will be raising money for Save the Children. We can’t wait to see everyone’s excellent Christmas jumpers and raise lots of money for a fantastic cause!
Four Weeks of Christmas
Four Weeks of Christmas has returned to The Business Centre for a second year. Hopefully you’ve already been down to Mel’s to treat a loved one (or yourself!) from the selection of lovely homemade gifts that have been on sale. There are still two more sellers to come, so still more opportunities to pick up some Christmassy treats from:
Both will be in Mel’s Café between 10am – 2pm and will be selling their lovely homemade gifts and sweet treats.
If you missed any of the sellers from our Four Weeks of Christmas or you’ve found a new favourite brand, they’re all local businesses, so why not pop in and see them at their shops or local markets in the Vale?
Christmas & New Year opening times
Residents of The Business Centre will be able to access the centre 24/7 with their access cards, however, our team will be taking some much-deserved time off to enjoy the festivities.
