This month’s Customer of the Month is South Wales Time Recorder who are in their 40th year of business! They import and sell time management systems throughout the UK and Europe, helping thousands of customers to save both time and money every year.
Previously, South Wales Time Recorder had always had their own private offices, however when these were damaged by the storms earlier this year, they moved in wth us in March. This was meant to be a temporary solution whilst their own offices were repaired. However, they fell in love with all of the amenities of The Business Centre as well as the welcoming atmosphere of our business community that they decided to stay permanently!
Amazingly, not only have South Wales Time Recorder already increased their turnover since moving in with us, they’ve even seen the birth of their new company: Charge Locker Ltd! Charge Locker supplies secure mobile phone charging lockers for people who want to charge their mobile phone in cafe’s, bars and restaurants.
With our sister company, Masons Self Storage, next door, South Wales Time Recorder makes use of having both facilities so close together. For them, having the serviced office space makes sense as they can benefit from all of the onsite facilities such as meeting rooms, Mel’s Cafe and the gym whilst also not having to worry about energy bills, refuse collection or office cleaning!

We enjoy helping the businesses that are in our community to thrive and expand because they don’t have to worry about the little things like working WiFi or ensuring that the refuse will be collected on time, because we take care of it all. Which is why we’re thrilled that not only have South Wales Time Recorder seen an increase in turnover in just a few months but even had the space to launch a new company!
We managed to grab Kevin from South Wales Time Recorder for a quick coffee chat in Mel’s recently and when we asked what made them decide to stay with us, rather than going back to their previous space, Kevin said:
As a small company having a service office makes more sense the benefits are more professional working environment, easy parking, meeting rooms at our disposal. Onsite cafe for employees and visitors, no energy bills or refuge collection. Also having secure storage facilities next door with easy off road unloading of our imported goods and 24/7 access. We were previously in our own building with none of the above facilities, we were having to spend time looking after the building, cleaning, refuge disposal, going out for lunch, etc all of which is wasted time and not very productive. Moving to serviced offices saved us time and money. Which funnily enough is our company strapline!
