    Each month, your rental fee for a serviced office covers a full range of services and expenses, making it the most comprehensive option. This includes:

    As mentioned above, we specialise in three types of office spaces, including serviced officesco-working spaces and virtual offices. These offer flexibility, affordability and the ultimate convenience!

    • Serviced offices: These are premium, private spaces that are fully furnished and set up with high-speed broadband connectivity, call answering services, free parking bays, 24/7 security and much more. You can lease an office for a minimum of three months, meaning you’re not bound to a long-term lease like a traditional office. 
    • Co-working spaces: These are shared office spaces in a modern four-desk environment, complete with executive furniture. It is ideal for freelancers or startup businesses looking for an affordable office on a month-to-month basis. Co-working spaces enjoy the same perks as a serviced office, the only difference is you’re not in a private space. This gives you the opportunity to network and build connections with other business owners.
    • Virtual Offices: Our virtual offices are for those businesses looking to create a professional image without an actual office space. For a small monthly fee, you will get a range of benefits, including a prestigious CF postcode business address.

    We don’t disappoint! We go the extra mile to make you feel special, that’s why we’ve thrown in free teabags, squash, mints and sweets. Plus, we supply mugs for your hot drinks and glasses and jugs for water. 

  • If I need food and beverages during a meeting, is this available?

    Of course! We understand that meetings, conferences or any other gatherings can take time. So if you’re hiring our meeting room for a couple of hours, you’d be relieved to know that we have an onsite cafe that can cater your event with delicious homemade meals and refreshments.

  • Is the meeting room available to the public?

    Yes. The meeting room is not only available to our tenants, any business outside The Business Centre can book the space. This makes it an ideal option for small and medium-sized businesses that are looking for an affordable way to gather their team or other businesses looking for a dynamic change from their regular meeting spot.

  • How much notice do I need to give to make or cancel the meeting room booking?

    Subject to availability, we can take bookings up to one hour before the need to occupy the space. Our meeting rooms are extremely flexible with only a 24 hour cancellation notice policy in place.

  • What is included in my meeting room experience?

    With our meeting room experience you receive the following:

    • Free conference co-ordinator looking after your requirements

  • How much would a meeting room cost?

    Our meeting room facilities start from £12.50+VAT per hour with half day and full day discounts also availble. Beverages and buffets are additional to the hourly rates. These can be discussed upon request with a member of staff.

  • Where are your meeting room facilities based?

    The Business Centre (Cardiff) Ltd is situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, 15 minutes away from Junction 33 at Culverhouse Cross. We have excellent public transport links as well as being located 20 minutes away from Cardiff City Centre and 10 minutes from Penarth. We are perfectly situated to ensure that you won’t need to sit in busy traffic commuting to the city centre on a daily basis.

  • What size meeting room space is available at The Business Centre (Cardiff) Ltd?

    Our meeting & boardroom facilities range from 2 people up to 16 people. Perfect for interviewing, small team meetings, training days and networking.

  • What size serviced offices do you provide?

    Our serviced offices range from 2 person office suites to 12 person office suites. We provide the flexibility of upgrading/downsizing depending on availability and the client’s needs. For the single users we also provide a shared office facility.

  • What’s the minimum term I will need to sign for and do I need to provide any cancellation notice?

    At The Business Centre (Cardiff) Ltd we provide a minimum license agreement of 3 months with 1 month’s notice to be given at the end of the term to cancel the agreement. No long term leases, no ties and the peace of mind for all our clients that the agreements are short and flexible.

  • How does the telephone answering work?

    We will provide you with your own dedicated business telephone number which connects to our professional team of receptionists who will then answer your calls as your business, which provides a point of contact to all your clients. We can take a message and relay this to you via email or alternatively, we can act as a switchboard and provide a seamless transfer service to an alternative telephone number.   • What packages are available to me?

  • What’s the minimum term I will need to sign for and do I need to provide any cancellation notice?

    At The Business Centre (Cardiff) Ltd we specialise in flexible monthly, rolling, shared office agreements with 1 month’s notice to be given to cancel the agreement.

  • How quickly can I move in?

    Our shared offices are very popular with freelancers and small business owners where working from home is simply not an option. If space is available you can move in as soon as we have received your initial payment and completed all the necessary paperwork.

  • How secure is my office equipment in the shared office?

    Within the shared office you will enjoy your own ‘pod’ which has a desk, lockable drawers, dedicated telephone line and internet connection. You will have your own key to the office, however, please be aware there may be up to three other occupiers of the office. Whilst we take security of the whole building seriously with CCTV cameras operating 24 hours a day, we cannot be held responsible for items left on desks or in unlocked drawers. Ultimately you are responsible for your own equipment.

I have recently moved in and love the break out areas and the lovely distraction of Mel's Cafe plus having a gym on site. Having the option of at a later stage taking some storage units in the adjacent Masons buildings was also a factor. It's been a good first two weeks!

GD Graphics Ltd has based itself at the Business Centre in Barry and is trading successfully from there. The Centre has excellent facilities, helpful staff and is a nice place to work. We have used a variety of the services on offer, starting with a virtual office, then moving it to a serviced office when the business grew. When we need to have large meetings or make presentations we make use of the meeting rooms available and pay by the hour for these. It's cost effective and works for our business. Our clients are always impressed when they come to the centre, both by the quality of the reception and the facilities available. Although there is a free on site gym, unfortunately we haven't made time to use it, though we really should, especially as there is an on site cafe serving hot food, sandwiches, cakes and great coffee. All in all I would highly recommend using the business centre, its cheaper than having an office in the city (Cardiff), its easy to get to, free parking and if you need to pop out you can get to Cardiff city Centre or the motorway in under 15 minutes.
