Welsh Hearts & Macmillan Coffee Morning
Fundraising Bonanza at The Business Centre (Cardiff) Ltd
A fundraising day to remember!
We hope you’re ready for an unforgettable day raising money for two fantastic causes: Macmillan Cancer Support and Cardiff-based charity: Welsh Hearts, to install a public access defibrillator at The Business Centre (Cardiff) Ltd.
Due to the amazing reaction we’ve received about our fundraising efforts for the two charities, we are hosting a fundraising bonanza. We will be raising money in Mel’s Cafe between 10am – 2pm for the two fantastic causes.
As we have done for the past few years, we will be taking part in Macmillan’s Coffee Morning to raise money for the charity to ensure that no one has to face cancer alone.
Of course Barry Bake Off is back, with an Afternoon Tea for two at Mel’s up for grabs, as well as the title of Barry’s Star Baker to play for! We don’t envy Judges Melissa Ringham (Barry’s Baker Extraordinaire and owner of Mel’s Cafe) and Dale Booker (our secret Welsh Musician, leading the beat in Cardiff-based band, Monico Blonde).
There will also be a raffle on the day with some fantastic prizes to play for. At just £1 for a strip of raffle tickets, you don’t want to miss out!
However, the fundraising fun doesn’t stop there! A first in The Business Centre history will be a Pre-Loved Sale sponsored by our sister company, Masons Self Storage. We would love donations of pre-loved, quality unused items, such as: male/female clothing, household items, children’s games as well as new toiletry and beauty gift sets. Basically, anything that you loved at the time of purchase, but never got to open, or wear! We don’t need any books, DVDs or CDs though, thank you!
If you have anything to donate, Emma and Mel will be visiting all of the offices to collect donations, or you can take them straight to the Admin Office on the ground floor of The Business Centre. If you would like to get involved with Barry Bake Off, have a chat with Mel at Mel’s Café at The Business Centre.
Our Fundraising Bonanza for Macmillan and Welsh Hearts is sure to be a jam packed four hours of fun in Mel’s. So please pop in and help us raise money for these two excellent causes. You can grab a bargain, a slice (or two..) of cake as well as helping us raise money in the process!
If you can’t make it into the centre but would like to donate towards our fund to help Welsh Hearts install a defibrillator here at the centre, you can do so either through a donation box in Mel’s Cafe or online through our GoFundMe link. These pieces of equipment are life saving and will benefit our entire community here in the Vale!
We can’t wait to see you for a day of fun and fundraising for two incredibly worthy causes to remember!
Tell your family and friends to come along too, the more the merrier!
