Creativity at the centre
Before Rosecorncreations, Dawn worked in catering and then ventured into the world of education as a teaching assistant. But she never lost touch with her creative spark even in the school environment, and sold her fellow teachers pamper hampers and tote bags as year end gifts. Through it all, she remained drawn to painting and decorating, a natural talent she likely inherited from her mother and father, who were both creative minds and artistically skilled. Dawn went on to reveal that the inspiration behind her business’s name is her mother, Rosemary Cornock, who always encouraged her to follow her dreams.
Rosecorncreations takes off
Today, Dawn is running Rosecorncreations full time. It’s been a year since she took the leap pouring all her time, effort, creativity, and resources into her dream. Not too long ago, this was her hobby, as she would always make seasonal decorations for herself. She soon started selling unique pieces to her friends and family, and this was a huge hit with Christmas wreaths and centrepieces the main attractions. This ignited a passion in Dawn, and she began taking her talent seriously and turned her hobby into a business.
